A girl earlier said if you get hpv/genital warts.. It can go away for good on its own? Anyone know anything of this?

Yes it can. Though most people with warts need a little a help. Freezing them off, or Aldara, and usually the warts never return. Some people have a recurrence, but for the vast majority of people, the virus is cleared with in 1-2 years and they never have another recurrence. This isn't like herpes where many people have continual outbreaks. It's very rare for someone to have continual wart outbreaks throughout a lifetime.
